Coffed Gurukul

GURUKUL is a great initiative by COFFED for educating the poor fishermen kid. This educational cell was started in January 2006 to guide the poor kids for better life through education. We realized most of the kids though could finish their matriculation and intermediate examinations but couldn’t prepare for the Medical, Engineering, C.P.T, railways and banking jobs, as they couldn’t afford the high fees charged by the coaching institutes at Patna. At COFFED we are committed to overall growth of fishermen community, we started GURUKUL to provide free education these kids, we not only provided free education but also paid stipend to the meritorious and needy.

Now lets talk about result we achieved from this cell, more than 250 students got selected in various competitive exams including medical, engineering, C.P.T, banking and railways.

We are also planning to start the Civil Services coaching from the 2009.
